WCQ: Rohr Invites 23 Super Eagles For Zambia

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has invited captain John Obi Mikel, Odion Ighalo and Victor Moses among 23 players for the must-win 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

Alex Iwobi, who pulled out of Nigeria’s last two matches against Cameroon due to injury, is now back in the team, and so is goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi.

Rohr maintained the squad that beat Cameroon in Uyo and forced a draw in Yaounde.

Camp opens on Monday, October 2, and all invited players are expected to be available on the day.
