Nigeria Begs Foreign Investors In Davos-'Come Do Business

So, a delegation of Nigeria’s economic team is attending the World Economic Forum, WEF in Davos, Switzerland and they are using the opportunity to beg foreign investors to spread their tentacles.

Leading the beggars’ team is Sen. Udoma Udo Udoma, Minister of Budget and National Planning, who is asking foreign investors to take advantage of Nigeria’s economic potential to invest in various sectors of the economy.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and Trade, Industry and Investment Minister, Okey Enelamah are also attending the Forum.

Udoma is said to have at various events and bilateral meetings with global business leaders marketed the potential of Nigeria and encouraged investors to come in.

Also, at a dinner hosted by the Vice-President for investors in Davos on Wednesday, Udoma said opportunities abound in agriculture and agro-processing, industry, mining, construction, infrastructure and services.

He told the gathering, which also includes Nigerians in the Diaspora, that the government is determined to revamp the economy by improving the enabling environment for all investors, both domestic and international.
