It looks as though Charlie Sheen isn’t a Trump supporter…
It’s no secret that 2016 has seen a huge number of high profile celebrity deaths. We’ve seen the likes of David Bowie, George Michael and Carrie Fisher to name just a few… but it looks as though some folks are hoping that 2016 isn’t quite done yet.’s no secret that 2016 has seen a huge number of high profile celebrity deaths. We’ve seen the likes of David Bowie, George Michael and Carrie Fisher to name just a few… but it looks as though some folks are hoping that 2016 isn’t quite done yet.
And for Charlie Sheen, it seems Donald Trump is top of his list. This afternoon, the 51-year-old actor and former star of ‘Two and a Half Men’ took to Twitter to politely ask God whether he could squeeze in the death of President-Elect Donald Trump before the year is out.
.It seems that Sheen sent his message – which is currently pinned to the top of his Twitter page – just after the news that Debbie Reynolds had died the day after her daughter, Carrie Fisher.
But the sentiment doesn’t seem to have gone down well.
.Fox News host Howie Kurtz has slammed the actor , not only for wishing death upon a fellow celebrity but also the poor timing following Fisher and Reynolds’ deaths“Charlie Sheen, after deaths of Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds, tweets a plea to God for Trump to be next,” he said. “This is sick. Should be condemned… How did we reach a point where it’s ok to wish death on someone over political differences? Charlie Sheen has led such an exemplary life?”

And that’s just one of the more polite reactions to Sheen’s tweet.
Of course, the problem is a question of decency. Yes, millions of Americans are absolutely appalled at the election of Donald Trump. But does that really mean it’s acceptable to wish death upon another human being due to political differences?
Either way, Charlie Sheen is lined up for the backlash of a lifetime.
Whether or not he really cares is another matter entirely…
