Fati Mohammed may not have imagined she will be where she saw herself on Friday few weeks ago when she called her ex-husband's mother a witch.
Fati Aliyu's son had separated with Mohammed, but the former mother-in-law wanted her son's child with Fati back.
The demand for the child led to argument that has now earned Mohammed likely imprisonment.
On Friday, Mohammed appeared before a Minna Magistrates’ Court, Niger State, charged with calling her former mother-in-law a witch.
The accused was arraigned in court following a direct criminal complaint filed by Mrs Aliyu.
Aliyu alleged that Mohammed called her a witch after demanding that she return the five-year-old child she had with her former husband to her.

According to the boy’s grandmother, the child had been on vacation with his mother.
She alleged that when she requested her to return him after the holiday, the mother called her a witch.
Mrs Aliyu is now demanding for 2 million Naira in damages for defamation and she also wants the court to order her to return her grandson who was put under her care.
The accused, however, denied the charge proferred against her by the complainant.
The presiding judge, Hassan Mohammed, advised the parties to give peace a chance and settle their differences amicably in an out-of-court agreement.
Hassan adjourned the case till August 31 for further mention.
